Motor1.com is reporting that the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma designs have been leaked in a patent filing in Brazil. It looks similar to the Tundra, with boxy fender flares and bracket-shaped taillights. As expected, it will have two engine options (just like the future Land Cruiser 240 and 6th Generation Toyota 4Runner) : a turbocharged four-cylinder + a hybrid-assisted turbocharged four-cylinder. It will also ride on the same platform as the Tundra.

The next Toyota Land Cruiser that will be for sale in the United States will be the LC 240 series. It will be built on a modified version of the TNGA-F platform that currently underpins the LC 300, LX 600, 3rd Gen Tundra (2022+), and 3rd Gen Sequoia (2023+).

The Toyota Trailhunter package is a series of modifications that make factory spec Toyota Trucks much more capable for overland adventure. The Trailhunter package will be available on 4Runners, Tacomas, Tundras and Sequoias and is expected to include suspension, bumpers, racks, tents, and several other options. Toyota will offer the Trailhunter package through dealers around the country beginning in 2023.
