The footpath is lined with lanterns, one of the many offerings to Buddha and also serves to illuminate the world of ignorance with Buddha's wisdom. From ancient times lantern offerings have been deemed just as important in Buddhism as incense offerings. We are at the entrance of the Beomeosa Temple, the first of many we will visit during our nine-month overland journey in South Korea.

If you've been reading our publication for any length of time, you know that above all, we're outdoor enthusiasts. Even though we really enjoy publishing stories of adventure with Toyota vehicles, the Williams family spends most of our time searching for adventure and exploration, anywhere we can find it.

It's the end of 2020, and what a year it has been. It seems like our entire world has been turned upside down, most events were postponed or cancelled, and many of us were not able to get out on adventures as much as we wanted to.
